I’m a playwright and screenwriter and have also written for audio drama and augmented reality. My plays include King Troll (The Fawn) (Kali Theatre/New Diorama – finalist for Women’s Prize for Playwriting), The Little Mermaid (Bristol Old Vic), Liberation Squares (Fifth Word/Nottingham Playhouse/Brixton House), Arabian Nights (Bristol Old Vic), The Jungle Book (Chichester Festival Theatre), Chasing Hares (Young Vic/Theatre Uncut – winner of the Theatre Uncut Political Playwriting Award and Sonia Friedman Production Award), Silence (Tara Theatre/Donmar Warehouse), Two Billion Beats (Orange Tree Theatre and Kirkos Theatre, Seoul).
I’m currently under commission to Manhattan Theatre Club and am on the writing team for a forthcoming drama for Sister Pictures/BBC. I’m also adapting King Troll (The Fawn) for film.
I’m a trustee for The Gate theatre.
