Miranda Walker

Miranda writes comedy, drama and musicals for TV, stage and audio.

Her work includes comedy drama Face It (BBC iPlayer, writer and creator), children’s shows for CBBC, CBeebies and Milkshake, and The Now Show and The News Quiz for BBC Radio 4. Her musical Fly Eddie Fly (book and lyrics) starred Olympic legend Eddie the Eagle as an interactive narrator, and she wrote the community opera libretto Across the Sky, shortlisted for a Royal Philharmonic Society Award.

Miranda is also an author – her children’s books are published by Oxford University Press and Bookoli, and her textbooks by Hodder Education, Oxford University Press and Nelson Thornes.

In 2021, she was the ‘Most nominated favourite disabled writer’ by WGGB members in a UK Disability History Month poll.
