Charlotte Pattullo

I started my career as a journalist in radio and TV news before moving to documentaries, reality shows and finally scripted television. I’ve worked as a script editor and assistant producer at C4’s Hollyoaks and for Netflix’s Original Series team. In 2022 I gained a place on RISE, a Channel 4/TripleC talent scheme. My first commission was CBBC’s Biff And Chip. I’ve since written four episodes of Hollyoaks, two romantic comedy films and a thriller for Reel One Entertainment. I’ve contributed ideas at a long term story conference for BBC’s Casualty and was selected for BBC TalentWorks EastEnders Writers Studio in 2024. I’ve since written four episodes of BBC’s EastEnders which I’m still pinching myself about. I believe my writing career so far shows that I can slot well into existing shows and create original material and this balance is something I hope to continue going forward.
