Jonathan Morris

I’ve been working as a professional writer for 25 years, mostly in audio. I’ve written for sketch shows including Dead Ringers and Swinging and had a sitcom piloted with Hat Trick. Now I find myself having written over a hundred Doctor Who audios, many of which have been broadcast on Radio 4, and I’ve also script-edited, produced and written tie-in novels, coffee table books and graphic novels. I’m based in Winchester, and as a Co-Chair, keen to highlight the specific challenges faced by writers in the South East, a region which is regarded as affluent, but where the cost of living is greatest. As the creative industries are under threat from multiple directions, we have the fight of our lives and I am ready to play my part.
