Save the date for our 2024 AGM

All WGGB members are invited to our Annual General Meeting on Thursday 12 September 2024 from 10.30am. To maximise member participation, we are holding the AGM virtually. The online invites to the AGM will be emailed to all members, alongside the final agenda and other papers, approximately two weeks before the AGM.

Prior to the AGM, WGGB members can put themselves forward for a seat on our Executive Council. We thrive on energetic writers who can spare a little time to help run their union and make the UK a better place for writers to work.

Members can also propose a motion.

The deadline for motions and nominations to be received at the WGGB office is 12 noon on Friday 23 August 2024.

The meeting is open to all members. Full Members and Life Members may vote on all matters. Affiliate Members may vote on the presentation and approval of the Accounts.
