About / Bio

RSA fellow and writer with a passion for developing applied theatre and film projects that create social change by illustrating the narrative and kick-starting conversations around complex social issues.

I have written 17 plays that tackle Radicalisation & Extremism, Child Sexual Exploitation, County Lines, Hate Crime, Domestic Abuse & Coercive Control, Safe Internet Use, Sexism & Sexist Behaviours and Overcoming Adversity & Building Resilience.

My work is mainly produced by educational theatre companies around the UK, but has also showcased in New York, Ottawa, Toronto, Belgrade and Cologne.  It is used by schools, colleges and universities, the NHS, Police Forces, Social Services and the MoD.

As part of my ongoing development as a writer, I recently graduated from the MSt in Writing for Performance at The University of Cambridge.
