About / Bio

I am a playwright, dramaturg and disability activist. I identify as visually impaired and Neurodivergent (dyspraxic and ASD) and fight for better access and validation of the disabled lived experience. I use creative access in my work and have written creative audio description. I am originally from Bristol with Welsh heritage on my dad’s side (I am a Welsh learner).

Current projects include Lilypower being Developed with Bristol Ferment following being part of 37 Plays at the RSC, Without Fire (ETT commission following their Nationwide Voices programme) Diary of a soothsayer (Royal Court commission) and an adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson’s Katy with the Egg.

My work includes Libby’s Eyes (Bunker Theatre 2018) Tinted (Vaults 2020 and Extant 2018) and The Royal Court’s Living Newspaper (Edition 6). I am on commission to the Royal Court and on attachment with Bristol Old Vic and the National Theatre Studio. I am also a member of Soho Writers’ Alumni Group and an alumnus of Graeae’s Write to Play,  BBC Writers’ Access Group and Paines Plough’s Re: Assemble programme.
