Helen Rana’s seven full-length and eight short screenplays have all been selected for film festivals and won awards, including:

Helen was a Writer Associate in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University in 2017-21.

Her short stories have been published in anthologies, and her non-fiction book about organisational cultures, ‘Workplaces’, is on sale in bookshops and online.

Helen became a full-time freelance writer, editor and researcher in 2017. Her previous career entailed communications and policy roles for diverse organisations such as investment bank JP Morgan, African non-governmental women’s rights organisation ZARD, and the Embassy of Finland.
