Cara Ellison is an internationally-renowned leader in design and writing for videogames.

Originally from Scotland, she also writes for TV and comics. She serves on the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) narrative jury and is a mentor for the BAFTA Scotland programme.

An award-winning itinerant journalist in her previous life, she has also written books, worked for BBC radio, and co-designed a BAFTA-award winning TV show for children. She is always seeking to expand the world’s ideas of what any form of entertainment can do, and who it is for.
