I am a freelance writer with considerable experience in writing for animation and I have developed and written original sit-coms for radio and TV.

Hilltop Hospital – Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.
Fireman Sam – The Beast of Pontypandy; High Jinks; Fit for Nothing; Birthday Surprise; Carnival of Junk; The Big Freeze.
Hana’s Helpline – Brave as a Lion; No Fear; So Sad; Record-breaking Rhian.
Igam Ogam – Want it!; I’m not Igam Ogam; Where’s my Doggie?
Series 2 – Not Mine; Good Boy; Don’t touch
Also the concept for a Love Hearts animation series.
For Hit Entertainment, a Fireman Sam script for the Butlins’ Character Explosion show.
For Martin Gates Productions in London, the first storyline/ treatment for The Twins.
For the Swedish production company, Propello, development work on an animated soap, Freckles.
For Colourwheel, a Welsh production company, a script, Darwin’s Children for the Darwin 200 celebrations.
SIT-COM
Original sit-coms:
3 in 1 – rehearsed reading at a BBC workshop in London run by Kim Fuller and Richard Boden following a seminar I attended with guest speaker, John Sullivan.
Square 1 – showcased at the end of a week long TAPS comedy course in Hammersmith, guest tutor, Maurice Gran.
Daffodils – Developed for radio with Gareth Gwenlan at BBC Wales.
Sinbads – Developed for TV with Gareth Gwenlan at BBC Wales.
Laura’s Law – Re-written for TV from the original version, “Lorna”, incorporating comments from Paul Mayhew-Archer. Rehearsed reading at a Women in Film and TV event in London.
Surplus – Entered with Laura’s Law for the BBC Salford sit-com competition with Gareth Gwenlan’s company, Top Comedy Ltd, as the attached production company.
The Best Medicine – A sit-com set in Swansea
Home Remedy – Rehearsed reading at a Women in Film and TV event in London .
COMEDY/DRAMA
Trabaun – an original 60 minute comedy/drama set in Ireland written for TV and Radio.
