About / Bio

I began writing for theatre at a young age, having three of my plays performed on the main stage of the Rose Theatre Kingston in 2011 and 2012. This helped with my application, and acceptance, into the BRIT School of Performing Arts (Theatre stand), focusing on writing.

After working on a plethora of short films (never released), I began studying at Roehampton University. Receiving a Bachelors for Film Studies, then a Masters for Screenwriting .

During this time I won an award at the Nahemi-Canon Extraordinary Times Competition 2020, for my Short Film “Banding Apart, about the COVID Pandemic on the estate I was living on. Later, I helped produce a documentary on homelessness in Bristol, which was nominated at the 2023 Kingston International Film Festival.

After leaving University, I received a placement in a BFI supported writers lab, Dissolve Into, run by my former lecturer and mentor. Despite my primary interest in writing, I have also worked Production Assistant roles on shows such as House Of The Dragon.

My most recent job, Glasshouses, hopefully will be making the festival circuit (Cannes / BFI Fest), in the coming months. With additional films being produced with the fantastic team at Dark Chamber Media.
