Heidi Baletic

Heidi Baletic is a London based writer with over 15 years of experience in film, TV and theatre. She wrote for Sky Atlantic, Canal+, Warp films on the TV series "The Last Panthers" directed by Johan Renck ("Chernobyl", "Breaking Bad"). She is the head writer of "Dug Moru" (episodes 1-11), and several episodes of TV Series "Toma".  She also wrote for Fox Kids, RTS and co-operated with the BBC on "Casualty" Shadow Scheme.

Heidi was selected for Guiding Lights Filmmakers Scheme supported by UK Film Council where she was mentored by Nick Hornby. She is an alumni of Serial Eyes, Europe's premier showrunning training programme.

Heidi also wrote a script for a feature film "Take a Deep Breath" directed by Dragan Marinkovic (Best Foreign Language Film award at WorldFest Houston International Film Festival 2005).

Her original play "Dead Man's Coat" was staged in London and Belgrade and was produced as a TV drama for RTS. Heidi's adaptation of Danilo Kis novels - "The Timetable of Andreas Sam" was staged at Yugoslav Drama Theatre.

Her novel "Take Me to Another Place" was published to critical acclaim.

Heidi is currently developing projects in the UK, Germany and Serbia.
