Devin John Doyle

Currently lead writer on an unannounced action-RPG at Dontnod, France’s largest independent games studio, Devin Doyle’s other credits include the hit fantasy RPG Divinity: Original Sin 2, the RTÉ sci-fi web-series Rapt, RTÉ’s Fair City, and the short film Brixton Bob, which he co-wrote and also directed.

Before graduating from the prestigious Australian Film Television & Radio School in Sydney, Devin spent two decades as a typesetter, graphic artist and studio manager in Dublin and Sydney. He also played in metal and grunge bands and once, foolishly, did stand-up comedy.

Born London-Irish but raised in Dublin, Devin also holds Australian citizenship. At home in rural France, he speaks French with his French wife and English with their French-Irish-British-Australian daughters. He tries to avoid speaking to the cat.

Devin is represented for film and TV by Aoife Lennon-Ritchie at Torchwood.
