Kit Lambert

Kit lives in Penarth, South Wales, with his wife and children. He is a television writer and a past graduate of the BBC’s Continuing Drama Series Writers’ Academy, with credits including EASTENDERS, DOCTORS, CASUALTY and HOLBY CITY as well as multiple episodes of BBC’s FATHER BROWN, THE CORONER and SHAKESPEARE & HATHWAY – PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS. He has had original scripts and series  in paid development with BBC Studios, ITV, Hat Trick, Company Pictures and Headstrong. Currently Kit is working with Hat Trick Productions developing an original period drama, plus they’ve also recently commissioned him to adapt a crime novel into a television series. He is currently writing on FATHER BROWN spin-off series THE SISTER BONIFACE MYSTERIES for BBC Studios and Britbox North America. He has been nominated for Best Writer at the Royal Television Society Midlands Awards in 2018 and 2020 and was recently on the judging panel for the BAFTA Cymru Awards 2020.
