Edel Brosnan

Screenwriter, radio playwright, script development and editing. My work has been broadcast on ITV, BBC1, BBC Radio 4, C5 and RTE1.  I’ve written thrillers, fantasy, crime drama, medical drama, black comedy and two well-received radio plays based on real events and people in Irish history. I was script consultant on several award-winning independent films, including the first Croatian film to win an award at Cannes.

I am a huge fan of Neil Gaiman and Ben Aaranovich, and the way they drag the stories of the past into the present and use old myths to tell new stories about the way that we live now.
