Fiona Georgiou Hunt

Australian-born, Fiona has been living in the UK since 2017 . Starting her career in professional theatre, working on large musicals Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, and Les Miserable she then moved into playwrighting, screenwriting, and arts consultancy.

Her screenwriting work has won a string of awards including:

She also writes directs theatre, recently completing Directing Doris Day one of six plays about women and the criminal justice system, and is currently directing her short comedy film Dupont Takes The Biscuit.

A past non-executive director of Australian Theatre for Young People, and current Trustee for Harrogate Theatre, she holds an MA in Screenwriting and a Bachelor of Education in Drama Education.
