Fiona Georgiou Hunt

Australian-born, Fiona has been living in the UK since 2017 . Starting her career in professional theatre, working on large musicals Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, and Les Miserable she then moved into playwrighting, screenwriting and arts consultancy.

Her work has won awards including best short at the Changing Faces International Film Festival, best first-time screenwriter at Festigious LA, and best short screenplay at Austin International Art Fesitival. She also directs theatre, currently working on a production from Charged - six plays about women and the criminal justice system.

A past non-executive director of Australian Theatre for Young People, and current Trustee for Harrogate Theatre, she holds an MA in Screenwriting and a Bachelor of Education in Drama Education.
