John Palmer

Philip is a screewriter, novelist and radio dramatist.  His Welsh film noir THE BALLAD OF BILLY McCRAE starring Ian Virgo, David Hayman and Sianad Gregory and directed by Chris Crow had its theatrical release in September 2021 on 20 screens across the UK and will receive a Home Entertainment release in 2022.

He has written extensively for radio, with plays including THE FAERIE QUEENE starring Simon Russell Beale and RED AND BLUE starring Tim Woodward with guest stars including Bill Paterson and Harriet Walter.  His fifth and final series of the Hungarian Cold War thriller KEEPING THE WOLF OUT starring Leo Bill and Clare Corbett was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 2021.

He is the author of six science fiction/fantasy novels including DEBATABLE SPACE, RED CLAW and VERSION 43.
