Michael Mueller

Michael is an award winning writer, producer and actor.

He was born in London to Swiss parents and studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He quickly established himself as a Theatre, Film and Television actor. Highlights of his career include playing Hamlet at the Sheffield Crucible; Richard Geer's Brother in the biblical epic "King David" for Paramount Pictures and a leading role in Bulgakov's "Flight" at the National Theatre. He also played leading roles with the RSC, Manchester Royal Exchange, English Shakespeare Company and in the West End.

He helped devise the West End hit "Up On the Roof" which was nominated for an Olivier award for Best Musical. This encouraged him to embark on a writing career. He wrote and directed a short film, 'Talk" starring Suggs - the lead singer of Madness. A commission to write a Television Mini series quickly followed and then his first feature which starred Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

To date Michael has had five feature films produced and is about to embark on pre-production for a further film directed by BAFTA winning Mandie Fletcher.

Michael has also worked extensively as a film producer - most recently on "Some Sweet Oblivious Antidote" which starred Sir Lenny Henry and was funded by the BFI/Creative England and Support which was funded by Film London.

Michael continues to work as an actor - most recently playing Iago in "Othello" at the Ludlow festival.

Michael is married with 2 children and lives in South London.
