Lou Morgan
Lou Morgan is a scriptwriter and author of both adult & YA fiction.
She has been nominated for three British Fantasy Awards (Best Newcomer, and twice for Best Fantasy Novel). Her short stories have appeared in a variety of anthologies and she has also written for magazines including Future Publishing’s SFX. She has been a long- and shortlist reader for the Bath Novel Award, and regularly appears on or chairs festival panels - including at the Bath Children's Literature Festival, the Edinburgh International Book Festival, the Young Adult Literature Convention and the London Film & Comic Con.
In addition to her novels she is a regular writer for Big Finish productions, writing across the Doctor Who spin-off ranges including Torchwood, Gallifrey and the War Master, as well as for several Doctors and the Missy series.
She also writes contemporary YA novels as Maggie Harcourt, and her books have been nominated or longlisted for the CILIP Carnegie Medal and the Amazing Book Awards, and shortlisted for the Sheffield Children's Book Award.
Lou was born in Wales and is a graduate of University College London.
