I am an experienced scriptwriter with a passion for character-led comedy, strong visual storytelling, and authentic, multi-faceted female characters. In 2017, I was a finalist in the Bafta Rocliffe New Writing Awards for Children.

I have written 150+ episodes of kids' shows for producers in the UK, EU, North America and Australia. I helped set up the three-times Kids’ BAFTA Award-nominated Little Princess and my scripts have been nominated for an International Emmy Kids’ Award (Ask Lara), a Kids’ BAFTA (Little Princess) and a British Animation Award (Little Princess).

I also write for live-action shows, interactive drama, live events and Apps. I work extensively as a script consultant with companies in Europe and China, helping develop shows such as Ziggy & the Zoo Tram, Rainbow Chicks and Ella Bella Bingo.

A former journalist, I have published seven books and numerous magazine articles. I also served on juries for the Shanghai TV Festival (2014), the Banff Rockies (2016), the Children's Baftas (2017) and co-wrote the Guild's revised Animation Guidelines (2014).
