Gail is a BAFTA award-winning writer who's written and created hundreds of BBC, ITV and C4 comedy shows (both sit com and sketch) and also children's series. Gail is currently writing, show-running and co-producing a new pre-school children's puppet series, Monty & Co,


Other credits include: C4's Get Up, Stand Up and BBC's Custer's Last Stand Up and, for children, ChuckleVision, Out Of Tune, Pipkins and The Famous Five and many more.


Gail also writes comedy books, films and stage plays. Her coming-of-age book, Give Me A Chance, is about her teenage times with John Lennon,  based on her true story of sneaking into John and Yoko's Bed-In for peace to get an interview for her school newspaper when she was 16 and becoming lifelong friends. Gail's currently writing the sequel.


Gail has written close to 1000 books and stories for Disney and appears regularly on radio and telly.


Gail is the Chair of the WGGB.
