Different Versions of you

She walked upon the same path

watching the light fall into darkness

And the darkness fade into the light 

She always paused at the red streaks of romance 

that smeared across the sky

Before the darkness cloaked her vision

and wrapped its existence around her whole being

It fulfilled a part of her, that was unreachable
