Our union negotiators have been hard at work to establish a 2% increase in minimum fees for BBC TV drama and sketch writers (effective from 23 December 2021) and for BBC radio drama writers (effective from 4 January 2022).
WGGB General Secretary Ellie Peers said:
“Against a backdrop of continual funding cuts and increased production costs, I’m pleased our negotiations with the BBC have resulted in a 2% increase for TV and radio writers.”
