2.3% rise on minimum fees for BBC TV writers

WGGB TV negotiators have agreed a 2.3% increase in minimum fees for screenwriters commissioned under the BBC Script Agreement for Television and Online (SATO).

The minimum fees for serials and series rise to £13,200 per hour, while teleplays rise to £14,340 per hour, and sketch material rises to £126 per minute (the changes are effective from 15 December 2025).
