Screenwriters whose work has been aired on BBC iPlayer have received royalties of nearly £1 million, according to figures just released by Writers Digital Payments (WDP). The not-for-profit company, owned by WGGB and the PMA, ensures that TV writers get properly paid when their work is shown online.
