Storyteller, writer, trainer and WGGB member Linda Cotterill had been ill for some while and passed away in hospital in Eastbourne on 15 May 2015.

Linda started in theatre, then spent two years in Paris at the Lecoq theatre school, studying visual and physical performing. She nearly joined a circus, but came back to England, where she worked as a performer, director, deviser and writer. Her work includes DIY Hard, winner of the Kodak Audience Choice Award at BAFTA; Pictures in the Mind, a Channel 4 drama documentary; and Little Tin Solider, winner of a Time Out Best Children’s Theatre Award.

Her funeral will take place on 2 June 2015, 4pm, North Chapel, Woodvale Crematorium, Lewes Road, Brighton. Those who knew her will understand the request for bright colours to be worn.
