When did you first realise you wanted to write for a living?

When I started writing a screenplay. I loved every second of it, I can’t get enough of it. I want to do this for the rest of my life.

Which writer, past or present, do you most admire?

David Lynch, his writing is quite simple but so heartfelt, I love it.

What was your first published (or performed) credit as a writer?

Nothing yet. Except a few short films.

Which piece of writing work are you most proud of?

I’m WW2 Eastern Front screenplay. It’s my best work so far.

Who or what inspires you to write?

I like Wes Anderson’s writing, it’s quite inspiring.

How do you switch off when you’re not writing?

I don’t. I think and live, films. But just sitting outside helps a lot.

Which one piece of advice would you give to aspiring writers?

Don’t be generic, find your voice.

Why are you a member of WGGB?

I want to be part of a union. And need help achieving what I want to do.
