“Over the last 25 years I have written for TV, radio and stage. My radio adaptation of Wuthering Heights was broadcast as a Radio 4 Woman’s Hour series over 15 episodes, and I also adapted it for the stage, published by Nick Hern. I wrote for Hollyoaks, Channel 4 and for BBC series Doctors. Radio plays include Our Lady of Shadows, Red Room, The Mermaid’s Tail (Published by Parthian), Head (published by Seren), The Raft (published by Methuen), Mapping the Soul (currently becoming an immersive gamified opera in VR). In 2010 I was awarded a ‘Granada artist’ writing residency in California for three months. I have also been awarded a Creative Wales Award by the Welsh Arts Council. I was a finalist for the BBC Wales Writer of the Year Award 1994 and the BBC Wales Drama Award 2012 and the Nick Darke Award 2013.

My Adaptation of Adventures In The Skin Trade by Dylan Thomas  toured Wales in 2014 and went to Sydney Opera house and Melbourne Arts Centre in 2015 and is published by Bloomsbury.

Recent theatre commissions include a site-specific drama Gladhearts Adventuring for Theatr Clwyd and Powis Castle (National Trust), staged 2019-2020. The Creature was commissioned and produced by the Company of Sirens. The Wild Tenant was commissioned by The Sherman.
