Annie is a two-time AMPAS Nicholl Fellowship semifinalist, with Operation Gomorrah (2021) and Beauty King (2022). She took part in the ITV Original Voices scheme with Emmerdale in Spring 2022, and is currently formally attached as a writer to an original series in development with a streamer. She's also optioned two original series concepts, and writes TV romcom films for Reel One Entertainment. In December 2022, her original series was picked up by a major production company for development.

By day, Annie is also a part time Development Producer for Brazen Productions, and has held post-production roles on You Don't Know Me (BBC, 2021) and Ralph and Katie (BBC, 2022).

Annie uses her lived experience as an autistic, disabled, LGBTQIA+, northern lass to write universal stories from unique perspectives.
