Eddie Robson was born in York in 1978, and now lives in Lancaster. He works as a scriptwriter, novelist and journalist.

Eddie Robson created and wrote the audio dramas Car Crash (Audible, 2021), Truthdiggers (Fun Kids, 2022), The Space Programme (Fun Kids, 2020) and Adulting (The Guardian, 2017), and his sitcom Welcome To Our Village, Please Invade Carefully, ran for two series on BBC Radio (2012-14). He wrote three episodes of the award-winning Chinese adaptation of Channel 4’s Humans (CCTV, 2021), plus episodes of The Amazing World of Gumball (Cartoon Network, 2018), Sarah & Duck (CBeebies, 2015-17) and Tish Tash (Cbeebies, 2021), sketches for Mitchell and Webb, and fourteen episodes of BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Doctor Who series (2007-16). His other work includes three SF novels, Tomorrow Never Knows (Snowbooks, 2015), Hearts of Oak (Tor.com, 2020) and Drunk On All Your Strange New Words (Tor.com, 2022) and comic strips for Marvel Comics and 2000AD.
