Miranda Emmerson

Born in Warwickshire and raised in London, I read English at Oxford and Playwriting Studies at Birmingham. I worked fairly regularly abridging, adapting and writing original drama for BBC Radio 4 from 2000 until 2014 - mostly as Miranda Davies. I have published one travel memoir (Fragrant Heart), one novel (Miss Treadway & the Field of Stars) and am working on the second book in the Miss Treadway series. I am also undertaking a PhD at Cardiff University looking at the history of BBC radio adaptation.
