Why I'm a WGGB member
The son of a coal miner and a caterer, Alan Devey grew up working class in the divided England of the 1980s. He now writes fiction, spec scripts for film and TV, comedy and non-fiction full-time and, in 2015, completed a Creative Writing MA at London Metropolitan University. He lives in the north of the city and recently began presenting the Comes With MP3s music show on Radio Woking.
