WGGB has negotiated an above-inflation increase of 2.1% on minimum fees payable under the union’s BBC Radio Drama Agreement.

General Secretary Ellie Peers said: “Radio offers a wealth of creative freedom for writers, but it has never been a sector where a writer can make their fortune, so winning an above-inflation increase at this time is a real achievement for our negotiators and I hope will be welcome news for radio writers.”
