Jamie is part of the writers’ room for PANDORA, a new series with Sister Pictures for AMC. His original screenplay, A MAN NAMED ROALD, a biopic of Roald Dahl (Raw Film & TV), is in development with the BFI, and RUBBERNECKER, a feature film adaptation of Belinda Bauer’s crime thriller (dir. Marc Evans; prod. Jon Finn, Dan Lupowitz), is being funded by Film Cymru Wales.

Earlier this year Jamie was part of the writing team for season 3 of Sky Atlantic’s THE TUNNEL (Kudos) and new crime series THE TRUTH (Mainstreet Pictures) for Sky 1.

Jamie’s relationship drama COACH is in development with Kudos TV, whilst his emotional thriller ONE FALSE MOVE is in development with Carnival Film & TV. For Hat Trick Productions he is developing crime drama series CRIMINAL NATURE as well as his original three part real-time thriller OVERNIGHT.

Jamie wrote on the last series of LAW & ORDER: UK for Kudos/ITV. He also wrote an episode of the second series of RIPPER STREET for Tiger Aspect/BBC and was previously a contributing writer on HOLBY CITY. He recently wrote an episode for series two of Jed Mercurio’s CRITICAL which was never broadcast since the show was not recommissioned.

Jamie’s screenplay BOGLAND – a crime thriller set during the Troubles in Northern Ireland – featured in The Black List’s ‘Top Uploaded Scripts’ in 2013 and won the Grand Prize in the American Screenwriters Association / Gotham Writers’ Workshop International Screenwriting Competition.

Jamie has worked in the film industry for more than 10 years. Prior to becoming a writer he was Head of Development at Really Useful Films, where he sourced and developed new ideas and writers, as well as managing and script editing the development slate.
