Mark Holloway

Mark Holloway has written for many children’s animation series, including, William’s Wish Wellingtons, The Forgotten Toys, Angelmouse, The Magic Roundabout, Tractor Tom, Captain Pugwash, The Fantastic Flying Journey and The Secret Show. More recent work includes: Tree Fu Tom and Cloudbabies. He was a writer and script-editor on The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That, Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs and Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave.

Since 1992 he has written over eighty scripts for some of the most popular drama series on British TV, including The Bill, Ballykissangel, Monarch of the Glen and Heartbeat. Before becoming a scriptwriter, he was a researcher and producer on the The South Bank Show, making profiles of artists ranging from Alec Guinness to Little Richard.
